So now, I'm using only the Laneige White Plus Renew Bubble Cleanser
So here's a quick view of it:

So, I tried using it
Before I use it, my face has a mild yellow hue
After few days of using it, my face started to have some sort of white radiance,
The yellow hue is not as visible as before.

PS: in  case you are wondering, the product pumps a very smooth foam out, one pump worked for me as it is already very rich in lather. And it smells really really good. Like a mild perfume smell

I must say....
that is incredible....

I will continue to use it and...

Food Review #3 - Quakers Instant Cup Oats #2

Hello again.
So today I'm continuing my instant cup oats review
So, last time I left the maple & brown sugar and the apple & cranberries flavored ones untested

Today, I'm gonna continue the taste tests

Ok, so here's the apple and cranberries one.

Here's how it looks like before I add water to it:

 After adding water and waited for around 2 mins or so:

Taste thoughts:

As you can see here,

there are real apple and cranberry bits.

The apples are all soggy after soaked in the water, 

but the cranberries tastes good

There are also some.... cinnamon apple taste to it.

It tasted more mild than the other 2 flavors.

Mostly I'm just eating the apples and the cranberries bite after bite

As there are quite many bits in this cup...

Anyways, compared with the other 2 flavors

I like this one the best

So I'm giving it a 9/10 rating

And now, for the maple & brown sugar one:

Except for the ingredients list, 

the back view is pretty much the same thing as the other two flavors

The insides look pretty much the same

After I added water and waited 2 mins,

this is what happened:

Taste Thoughts: 

I'm pretty sure I added water til the line there....

since it is impossible to screw up such a simple instruction....

Not sure what happened and why is it so watery.....

But anyways, 

it tastes sweet. Very sweet I must say...

I can really taste the maple syrup.

It's very accurate.

However, for this one, 

basically you're just eating plain oats with maple and brown sugar flavoring.

I like something I can chew on when I eat oats

So.... it's a bit of a downer for me....

Therefore, I give it a 6/10.

Expo Sayangi Food & Beverage Malaysia Haul

Today, I went to a food expo in Danga City Mall, Johor Bahru with a couple friends
after I saw them promoting on Facebook
I asked a few friends to accompany me there

It's not a big expo, but there is quite a lot of food there.
Though I must say I only went for the Japanese and Korean snacks.
Anyways, I saw a few stuff that makes me "oh I want that!" here and there.

I dunno how to describe this....

Pizza flavor..... the most common one....

Tastes very accurate 

Like real tom yum (without the soup)

All spicy and sour

Yopokki (1 for RM13)

Spicy & Cheese (with a little tinge of spiciness) flavor

Green tea caramel Candy from Lotte (1 for RM8)

And last but not least:

The Emgrain oat drink(?) 

It's RM50 for 500g pack

with a shaker as free gift

This is like a nutrition jam-packed drink

It has beetroot ( so it is pink :) ) and seaweed collagen, 

It has a variety of vitamins

Helps lower blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar

Helps boost metabolism & circulation

Reduces risk of cardiovascular diseases

Good for girls especially during menstruation (rejuvenate & radiant)

I tasted the free samples of similar drinks in the food fair

And this is the best tasted pink drink I had

So after debating for half an hour. 

I bought one.

That's all I bought.
It's not much.
But I think I spent a lot for today.....
However, if there are other food fairs
I'm willing to go again
Seems fun. From what I experienced today.
Like they said: "If the first experience is good, you'll keep them coming"

Tomato rice

*Dun* *Dun* *Dun*
It's explore-and-get-creative day again
How? By cooking.

Today, I'll be cooking it with the electric lunch box I bought earlier
Coz it's the only cooking utensil I have at the moment

So, today's menu:
the oh-so-popular-in-Japan
--tomato rice

It's a simple dish, with only 2 ingredients: tomato and rice

So, I use "zhen zhu mi" or short grain rice to cook my version of tomato rice
Coz it's shape is similar to Japanese rice they use for sushi
and also because I like it's texture

So, basically I just follow the instructions on the packet to cook the rice, which is pretty simple:

1. wash the rice ONCE (so i did, coz it's written in caps)
2. measure 1.2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice (or accordingly to your personal preference)
3. soak the rice for a minimum of 30 mins
4. place the rice into cooker. leave to cook.
5. switch off the rice cooker and leave the rice in the cooker for 15 mins. fluff gently then it is ready to serve.

I have a confession to make:

I din mix it well enough. so u can see there are many tomato chunks here and there.

It's because I'm very hungry already.

I just can't wait.

PS: I added some salt to mix the rice with the tomato.

I don't know why I did it. I just did.

But they mixed well together. so my tomato rice doesn't taste plain.

So.... it tasted pretty good I must say.

Since I like to eat tomatoes very much.

I like that the rice were infused with the tomato's sweet and sour flavor

The salt somehow helps bring out the flavor even more.

But it would taste better if I had the patience to mix them all thoroughly.

Nevertheless, I will learn from my mistakes.

Next time, I will show u a better version of tomato rice.

Note-to-self:

Add some sesame oil when cooking the rice next time (for more fragrance)

紫菜蛋花番茄汤 (Seaweed + egg + tomato soup)

So, today, for lunch, I'm cooking soup
It's a simple Chinese soup
-- 紫菜蛋花番茄汤 (Seaweed + egg + tomato soup)

Typically, it's just seaweed and eggs
But i'm improvising mine
By adding tomato in it

And I'll be cooking it with the electric lunch box I bought earlier

Here are the ingredients:

• 1 egg
• 1 tomato
• Around half slice of the seaweed (I added more coz it looks little. But after it is cooked, less is more)
• Some salt for taste

How I cook:

1. Soak the seaweed for a few mins (to soften it (?))
2. Cut the tomato into 8 pieces
3. Put the into the pot
4. Boil them for around 1 hour

At this point, I opened the box to add my egg in it.

Keep stirring while the pot is still hot (to cook the egg)

Then continue to let it boil for an hour.

Lastly, add some salt for taste

The amount of salt depends on you, as some like the soup salty, while some doesn't

And voila~

U have a simple seaweed + egg + tomato soup

So, it turns out that I added too much seaweed....

Hence, this bowl is makes me very full.

It's not perfect but it's alright.

Quite mild to the taste.

Most importantly, I cooked it. Personally. XD

Today, I wanna recommend a nice song that I have been putting on repeat

So, some netizens have been criticizing Yoona for her solo mini album release.
Since she is only a sub-vocal of the group...
However, I find the song very sweet to the ears.
In my opinion,
it's a song that describes a couple's date at the Deoksugung Stonewall,
so, it's very lovey-dovey, makes me go "awwww....." throughout the whole music video.
Besides, Yoona's very pretty....
the interactions in the music video seems like what a real couple would do on dates.
Very natural.
It makes me wanna take my own boy to Deoksugung Stonewall....
and shoot a similar music video for our anniversary~~~~ <3

Anyway, the song has a catchy melody.
Exactly my type of song~~ ^-^
Therefore, I give it a 9.5/10
(Can't give it full marks, perhaps one day she will have better songs, right? XD)

Food Review #2 - Quakers Instant Cup Oats

Breakfast time.

I usually have oats for breakfast.

Since it is healthier and not much hassle.

When I went to Singapore few weeks ago

I saw instant cup oats in the 7-eleven store at Marina Bay

It got my interest

And since it is only $1+ SGD for one, 

I decided to buy 3.

Each with different flavors.

Honey & Almonds

Just add hot water and wait for 2 mins.

Result:

Taste Thoughts:

It has a strong honey flavor. 

I personally don't like honey. But still, it is fine for me. 

There are some almond bits as you can see.

Not very crunchy after soaked in water 

(for more than 2 mins, coz apparently I forgot about it)

In short, its like regular rolled oats dipped in honey water and has almond bits in it.

My rating: 7/10

Maple & Brown Sugar 

Apple & Cranberries

I haven't tasted them yet. 

Need another 2 days of breakfast.

Food Review #1 - Muesli from Yogood

As a student, 

I've been grocery shopping alone for a quite while now.

And for some while, 

I've been eyeing seeing this brand, just wanting to try them

--Yogood

It says "goumet muesli"

Sounds and looks delicious.

I mean, just look at this: 

Very delicious looking. Nice packaging too...

Note:

For those who doesn't know what a muesli is (so do I), I did the research for you.

Apparently, a muesli is:

A breakfast and brunch dish based on raw rolled oats and other ingredients including grains, fresh or dried fruits, seeds and nuts, and may be mixed with cow's milk, soy milk, almond milk, yogurt or fruit juice.

So, a while ago.

Thanks to a friend who I occasionally shop with, 

a persuasive devil angel,

I bought this:

Muesli Bars: Wildberry

There are 6 bars inside the box

I bought it for RM12.15 (excluding GST)

This is what each bar looks like:

After first bite, it tastes absolutely amazing

Taste Thoughts: 

A little sour from the yogurt it is covered with

But sweet from the flavors of the berries.

I just couldn't get enough

My Rating: 10/10

And, from this day, I like muesli.....a lot....

Considering I've been starting to eat oats on daily basis recently...

So, the other day, 

thanks to another persuasive devil angel

I bought these:

Gourmet Muesli

It comes in a 6 box package. 

But there are only 4 different types

I haven't tried them. So I can't do any taste tests. Yet.
